November 23, 2007 - The Pyramid Mountain hike has been updated and re-written with the hike direction reversed from what it was originally. March 11, 2007 - Added a new hike, the Pound Mountain Circular. While still a rough draft, it should be easy to follow for an experienced hiker who has the appropriate map.
January 7, 2007 - Updated the driving directions for the Bearfort Ridge hike to include an alternative way of driving there from NYC. This alternative way will probably be easier to follow. It avoids poorly signed sections of roadway in NJ (i.e. Route 513) and I predict will result in fewer people getting lost. It might even be a faster way of getting there.

November 6, 2006 - Launched www.NYCdayhiking.com, a new (and somewhat derivative) website dedicated to day hiking in the NYC area.
